BACKGROUND

Challenge International School is a registered private school licensed to operate with effect from October, 2014. The school started with a total of eleven pupils at the Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Primary levels for both new intakes and transfer students. The school also operated Islamiyya section, which was later expanded to cover Tahfiz and married women Islamiyya classes with a total of fourteen students at these sections.

The school is located at No.1, Alh. Adamu Sa’i Street, Unguwar Jakada, Dorayi Babba, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State. The location is strategically sited at a major intersection and easily accessible from different parts of the metropolis.

PRESENT

From that humble beginning we now have a record of 75 No. pupils from Pre-Nursery to Primary 5, with requests for admission of 10 No. pupils on transfer to JSS 1 being processed. This is in addition to 12 No. application forms for admission into various classes, sold to parents for transfer of pupils from other schools. We also have a total of 80 No. pupils at our Islamiyya/Tahfiz section, and 10 No. students at the married women Islamiyya section.

MANAGEMENT,TEACHING , SUPPORT STAFF

We have a total of 25 No. staff members comprising of 2 No. Management staff, 10 No. Nursery/Primary/Secondary Teaching staff, and 4 No. Support staff. The Islamiyya/Tahfiz sections have 9 No. staff.

All our Management, Teaching, and support staff are appropriately qualified and suitable for their respective areas of assignment. The school maintains a strict and standardized recruitment policy. Our Management and Teaching staff are holders of various degree, PGD, NCE and professional certificates.
